The amazing 36 year-old veteran, Lee Hyun Il, has been phenomenal these two weeks , downing the likes of Axelsen twice, Jan O Jorgensen, Chou TC, Tannonsak - it'll be a pity if he clinch to win this title.
IMHO, both ShiYuqi and Jonatan Cristie are still relatively young and inexperienced,it's early days yet to say who will be the better player going forward. At this moment, I'm sure Lee Hyun Il's vast experience and exquisite technique is more than capable of handling either of them despite his 'advanced age'.

He Bingjiao had a close shave with Chiang Mei Hui, she's not in good form, doesn't bode well for her match with Sung Ji Hyun today. In G3, there's some drama - at 15-17, she needed medical attention; at 17-18, she was unhappy with the linecall, stood there unaccepting while Chen Jin raised his hand in protest to the umpire but to no avail; then she spurted from 17-19 to draw level but at 19-all she was flat-footed by her opponent's x-ct drop shot at which she fell on all fours, annoyed with herself and remained in that stance for a while, facing one matchpoint to her opponent; however, she managed to force deuce and reeled off the next two points to seal victory, narrowly. I'm afraid, at the rate she's going, He Bingjiao is not going to prevail over Sung JH today.
After watching the replay, I've to admit Zhang Beiwen scored an impressive come-from-behind win over Akane Yamaguchi whom it appeared to me didn't seem as tired as I thought she might be in the decider. Sun Yu had better wary of ZBW who is no easier opponent than Akane today.
I think Joachim Fischer and Chen Qingchen would make a great pair from the entertainment point of view, both so expressive and animated.
