Will be there with bells on. (I've always wondered what that means... perhaps, while in Britain, I can find a Morris dancer to explain)
All weekend and staying in the Hilton Garden Inn right round the corner (Close to all the good eateries in Brindley Place )
Good food? Now this thread is becoming interesting!! I would be very grateful if any All England veterans would list any favourite places to find cheap, good food around the NIA. (I will have with me two hungry boys and a very weak Canadian dollar. )
I think he is insinuating that you're going to be doing a lot of sitting on uncomfortable chairs and that it might take its toll on your nether regions
Brindley Place is where all the restaurants are .... If you google maps it you should see all the various options .. I dunno about cheap though I particularly like Le Monde when I was there last year http://www.le-mondebirmingham.co.uk/
Thanks for the tip! . Lemonde looks really nice for at least one meal. But I suspect that most days we'll be making peanut butter sandwiches in our hotel room to stay on budget.
The GB pound has dropped about 2% against the Canadian Dollar in the last month and still seems on a downward trend ... you might be able to afford 2 meals at Le Monde if you send the boys out to McDs
Enjoy your time there.... Two players I recommend, you should definitely be looking forward to watch them Lin Dan - a 33 year old leftie Kento Momota - a 21 year old leftie. Cheers
No problem.True talents are hidden gem in most cases. He is a good player with a decent footwork, alright smash and can do few things here and there at the net too.
