To be honest I felt very sad for that player. In fact many players have also fall victim to bias refereeing and judging. :crying: Hers is not the first case and won't be the last. Yesterday there were also lots of bias judging and refereeing involving players from different counties. some tried to protest but to no avail as they have been IGNORED!!!!!! Players with better sportsmanship takes the defeat with a great and heavy heart. What to do this is Korea Open and things like that are already expected to happen right before the tournament started. When the tournament is held in Korea, Korea needs to win 5 gold medals hence the cheating begun.
Yes congratulations to Sayaka for winning. I salute her for her bravery to protest. Felt sad and humiliated myself whenever Korea cheats to win.
Meanwhile WD top-seed Shizuka Matsuo/Mami Naito got first round casualty, lost to INA young promising pair Della Destiara Haris/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari in rubber games. Haris/Sari created good result early this year, being runner-up in Mulheim An Der Ruhr.
All those misguided and misplaced patriotism when there's no international 3rd-party umpires, service and line judges, is a real turnoff.
Yes but then sad to say it seems that line judges are blind, blind umpires make the tournament less interesting.
Guo Kai and Huang Yuxiang disappoint again, early exits for them. Unfortunately, the two survivors , Qiao Bin and 19-yr-old Shi Yuqi, are up against the top two Korean aces, Son Wan Ho and Lee Hyun Il, respectively in the next round, pretty tough hurdles.
ROUND OF 16 (10.00am local time, 4 court) => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...8CB674-5B18-413D-95AA-DAA3D67D22C1&d=20151105 Top two seeded, Son WH and Lee HI will face Chinese test, Qiao B and Youth Olympic Champion Shi YQ respectively, it's tall order for the lower-ranked Chinese player to topple Korean leading MS. Local promising stars, Jeon HJ and Heo KW have tricky Japanese hurdle while defending champion Lee DK will up against former WJC Zulkiffli for quarterfinal berth. Korean top-ranked Sung JH retired yesterday, Bae YJ is local best hopeful to nail the title here, she will set up clash with Japanese Ayumi Mine. Second seed Sun Yu has home player Koh EB while another Chinese WS, the left-handed Shen YY who stunned 7th seed Aya Ohori earlier should pass this stage. In doubles disciplines home pairs have secured 1 MD, 2 WD and 1 XD last eight spot respectively. Highly favoured Lee YD/Yoo YS will meet Chinese combo KX/Wang SJ, an interesting tie will pit former WJC Li JH/Liu YC against Angriawan/Saputra.
This 19 y.o. Shi YQ has good potential, he needs more international exposures. The evergreen veteran Lee Hyun Il prevails, 21-18 / 17-21 / 21-9.
