Technical, the "article" is real (in the sense that it exists and is not vapourware) and is published albeit in BC Forum. It's certain a much better article than those jokers at Newpaper can manage. At least it's grammatically sound and consistent.

That wasnt my main point either. Since Oldhand can write such good articles, better to write 'real' article to be published in publications(whatever type) than making an April fool joke(cos I wouldnt). But that's just my opinion.

Zhao is my ultimate all time idol in the sport. Yet i still cannot believe this article... Jans Eriksen was still competing @37. even he decline from the charts graduately. It makes much more sense if Zhao is going to coach for any national team IMO. If he is really going to compete, he will have my support. However, i will believe this article until i see him in action with my own eyes first. It is April 1st today afterall.
I had my doubts when I first read the news. Former top Chinese male players over 40 found challenging playing against top Chinese female players. I consider Zhao at his best was better than current players, but I think at his current level he would not stand any chances against the top players. It was a well thought and written thought.

And you know very well their original intent, same thing happened last yr which I think lasted a couple of weeks , want to say2 some more. That wasnt my main point either. I dared to say it cos I would not spend my time & energy constructing a joke under any circumstances. Nor poke fun or mock a company or people (like the 'joke' in the Phiten thread). I was trying to say as nicely as possible that there more productive means to using the skills like researching, writing and submitting errr.........serious articles to actual publications (which is what I would do), esp in the current eco situation. Like the Chinese saying goes "Eat full already, very free......" So now, I have to say so direct, wait people will get angry, this cooler, tsk tsk.
