Hello all. My name is vinit, I am from newzealand. would say an intermediate player. I have bought a voltric z force 2 racket from one of the suppliers in ebay. i find the racket too heavy. My friends are also using the same zforce 2 rackets but theirs is much more lighter than mine. Could someone tel me that what i have is a fake one or is it my fault? 20160117_151637.jpg 20160117_151653.jpg 20160117_151656.jpg 20160117_151658.jpg 20160117_151708.jpg

The short answer, yes it's a fake, and a bad one, as you say it's much heavier
Hope you didn't pay to much for it:crying:

1 It shouldn't feel heavy as you said, weight is around 80-85 gram as far I remember
2 Your friends have the same racket and they feels significant lighter than your Voltric
3 There is an enormous amount of fake Voltric etc. on the Market platforms
May I ask what you paid ?

There is a thread in here: Post your Yonex serial NO
Try that, those guys know all the codes

I hope I'm wrong and your racket is genuine, I just have bad experiences with fake Yonex rackets
which aren't bought from certified Yonex sellers

hope it can help a bit !

    From Ebay:
There should be two serial numbers on every Yonex racket, one on the shaft and the other on the cone. The one on the shaft is the serial number which increases with every racket manufactured. The one of the cone represents when your racket is produced, in the format DDMMYXCC, with DD and MM respectively being the date and month of production. The most important information is the year of production Y. For example, if Y is 2, then the racket is produced in 2002. If you spot an Arcsaber with Y = 0, it is definitely fake since Arcsaber did not exist then. CC represents the country which it is distributed from.

    DDMMYXCC
    39th of the 52nd month 2015?

Also no sticker on the cone? Looks like there's some damage around it too. I would reckon it's a fake. Check with your friends if their racket is a 4U or a 3U by the way - that makes a big difference to weight.

    Yes me too.
Important to follow it up, and report those cynical "suppliers" selling to a price, where someone >start dream< this Yonex is genuine, and it's a very good offer.
So if and when you get sure in your case, report it to Ebay
