Barry Nilson had a lot to do with this clubs success story, sadly due to poor health his badminton came to an end several years ago. He has become the club mascot, going to club nights and never misses a match as a spectator. LOL that was a long time ago. Yeah I was really small for my age which made my achievements all the more sweeter. There were other players who were also small, and you can see who learned the jump smashes early on in life
Hi all, More success to report. My coach got a call from the county squad on Saturday and said i have a place in it if i want. I started training last night, with Ian and Alyson Pearson as my coaches. Was good to see the boys again actually. Matt
