With CL's superb defence, KS is forced to go for the lines, hence the likelihood of error is higher.

Well SK has narrowed the gap to just 2 points, but a X-court smash just went out 17-14 for CL.

Soon later SK won back a point with a X-court net shot and yet another with a smash. 16-17 SK still trails.

 

Chen Long is ready for the net, KS has to make it tighter.

 

SK only playing well for last couple of minutes. Amazing that he's not far from CL.

 

A love disguised net drop closed the gap for SK 17-18.

But powerful X-court smash from CL put it back to 19=17.

 

SK has wonderdul deception but is also prone to unforced errors at crucial points.

 

Chen Long's retrieving ability is making KS wary and tentative.

 

Can SK get back into the game in G2, having lost G1 17-21?

SK should be warmed up to the idea of attacking by now.

Unfortunately no Hawkeye available here. There were a few close calls that can go either way.

 

Even CL can miss a sitter at the net.
sk trails 2-4 and went further when CL hits out 3-4.

 

For the first time SK leads with a smash 5-4.

 

Why does GC have to question lin Dan?

She questions as if the God is answerable to her! Keep your bias with you GC, HE'S done more for badminton than any one I can imagine.

 

"That's a defensive shot (from SK) that will please MF" so says GC.

Score now 7-8 to CL.

 

This is the problem with Chen long, rarely attacks. His game has no extra dimension.

 

A venomous smash levelled the score 8-all for SK.

 

KS plays a lot of trick shots, needs a bit of time for his opponents to get used to.

 

Chen Long is often lulled by his opponents into not playing a more attacking game that he's capable of.

 

A lucky net chord drop save SK n10-all and when CL hits into the net, SK leads in the interval 11-10.
