The best era is still on this trio: LD, LCW and CL

Pure class.. a rank above everybody.

Maybe, but at least from this match, Chen Long gets to know how far he is from his best.

Hope to see both of them at Dubai at their best and give us another dream finale

Of course it would...but that would require CL to have the goods to force a G3...which he didn’t.

I read something about him not going because he want to spend time with his family, but that could subject to change.

CL perhaps doesn't feel he needs to win anything else, except the AG gold....and imo he really doesnt need to win anything more. And so i say,If anyone wins the AG gold apart from CL i salute him.

Sorry to say, but nobody “gives away” G1 in a final. Maybe G2 in very specific situations...but not this one.

How do you know ? Who knows. It's easy to speak after the fact. You have foreknowledge ?

This new ''more bulkier'' ''more muscular'' ''more faster'' ''more powerful'' Lee Chong Wei is better than ever. I salute to his Gym work and His Physical trainer.

Wow... All 5 opponents destroyed in two straight games. Holy Smokes. Best in the world by a million mile.

It’s simply a question of whether to go all out to win it in 2, or spread your energy over 3. At LCW’s age, it’s highly unlikely that he could lose G2 and come out even stronger to win G3. So it makes sense he would go all out in G2.

And how do you know in the first place?
A fresh and physically strong CL can't even take advantage of G2 against an "old man".
