Yonex-Sunrise HONG KONG Open 2016 : DRAW

HBJ, Sun Yu and RI have WDN.
And so has JoJo :((
was kinda expecting RI to do so and even HBJ can do with some rest. But, Sun Yu? what happened to her? i mean yes she looked considerably tired in the finale and more or less lost her script towards the end but i still think she is(was) one of the favs to win the last SS title of the year.
VA too :(

He Bingjiao's withdrawal I can understand, she's jaded, mentally and physically tired, a pale shadow of herself in the CHN Open with only flashes of brilliance - five tournaments in two months, the last three consecutively in Europe, her first such experience; during her junior days, she at most played four GPG/GP level tournaments a year, mostly in Asia.

But Sun Yu ? Intanon Ratchanok, why ?

Btw,I 've read that Chen Long is going to withdraw from the HK Open and the following Dubai SSF as well even though he has automatic qualification as Olympic Champion.

any chance for PVS to qualify for Dubai SSF?

She has a chance. Last year, Sindhu lost in round 2 of China Open and 1st round of Hongkong open.

This year she won China open and she has to go till Semifinals of Hongkong open atleast . Nozomi okuhara also has withdrawn. So Sindhu has greater chance to qualify.

Chan/Goh's game is still not solid enough. They lost tamely to the Koreans which was recently paired.

Ko/Kim, World No 1 was defeated in straight sets. Chung Man/Ying Suet's biggest win yet. I am very excited to see whether they can continue their momentum in futurre matches.
