Just found out day before yesterday when I was playing at Siri that it’ll be starting soon. Hopefully I can record some footage from down low and post it for you guys.
Funny/saddening story from the MAS delegation Their luggage was left behind in MAS and will only come at night (India time) today No court practice for them and Chan Peng Soon can only use bathrobe as clothing LOL
Got the passes for semi's and finals. Will go on 31st as well just in case players decide to get cheeky and not perform up to their usual standards.
XD R1 matches are not played on Tuesday for this tournament Quite uncommon nowadays https://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=1D04BED4-2309-4F7F-B469-5E878816AACF The participation list is not that fancy though. Seems like they assume R1 matches will end quickly as the level is not very high India Open tournament's level hurts so bad because of its status as a 'normal SuperSeries'. Barely feels like a GP, all dominated by India players except MS
Withdrawn List : MS • Viktor Axelsen [1/DEN] • Zulfadli Zulkiffli [MAS] • Tian Houwei [CHN] WS • None MD • Ong Yew Sin/Teo Ee Yi [6/MAS] • Goh V Shem/Tan Wee Kiong [MAS] • Sze Fei Goh/Nur Izzuddin [MAS] • Kah Ming Chooi/Low Juan Shen [MAS] • Wirawan Ihsan Adam/Redy Perdana [INA] WD • Aghisna Fathkul Laili/Ganis Nur Rahmadani [INA] XD • Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir [1/INA] • Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock [2/ENG]
still got .. unknown pair tomorrow : 7:00 PM MD Chun Kang Shia Wee Gieen Tan vs Rohan Kapoor Shivam Sharma
So, no cost for watching? Anywhere you can go and sit in any seat? Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
So? It doesn't mean that they are 100 percent better, even more without any data? Jeez, you sure like downing any chance.
Does anyone know why this tournament has much weaker line-ups than the Malaysian and Indonesian Masters, even though the prize money is the same and ranking points are the same?
Asia team championship is next week, and being the last tournament in the tour (after Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand) doesn't help that
I guess it's the third consecutive tournament and players are now getting tired/injured i.e. luck of the calendar. Possibly because India open is less prestigious than Indonesia/Malaysia. Though those were the masters earlier rather than the higher tier competitions so I'm not sure. Home support may factor though.
