I've always worn size US 10 for my Asics court shoes. My Nike runners are 10.5.

I just scooped up a deal for a pair of Yonex Power Cushion 03 Z Men and I'm surprised their US 9.5 fit me ok.

Do Yonex shoes usually go half a size bigger?

Hello, I believe most, if not all badminton shoes will get bigger in size as you wear them, there will be lots of movement around the court which "stretches" them in the long run.

Your Nike running shoes are the wrong size then. Yonex and Nike have basically the same sizing.

Interesting. After trying the Yonex on again, I've decided to return them. If I insist, I might get bruised toes.

Oh, this is well known problem. Yonex is always like that, ±1 size without any reason or logic.
