NanoSpeed 9000 Anyone knows how it look? From Yo's (http://www.yos.ca/) website, the owner said it is coming out soon.
Well the site also states that the NS6000 will be out soon... "NANOSPEED6000 and NANOSPEED9000 COMING SOON" As most of us know NS6000 is already available on some markets, so I don't know how much should be read out of the "soon" for NS9000 ?? I guess "soon" just seems so .... inprecise... /Twobeer
hey ants how is it that you can get test rackets??? do you have like some kind of connection with yonex or w/e brand you're testing??? I would like to use test rackets and do you get to keep the rackets??? thx Sam
If you are serious about it, I suggest you present your credentials to the racket company in question, that you would like to offer yor testing-services to.. I would assume Ants has the credentialsand integrity that makes the racket company interested in his views on the new rackets.. If they are interested in your views I am sure they will let you know ... Just as they are asking many top-players for input on prototypes before actual production takes place.. /Twobeer
Perhaps the 6000 hasn't officially been introduced to Stijn's market yet. This thread refers to the 6000 as a brand new 2006 product and currently the Yonex Japan website shows it but the Korean site and yonex.com don't seem to have the 6000 yet. You're right, though. It is rather funny that they would claim not to produce one at all.
I do have a fake NS9000. It is a gift from a friend who got it from China at around HKD350. Knowing how some company made the fake rackets, their colour scheme and design would be just like the real one. So I guess there must a real NS9000 somewhere out there for them to copy and produce the fake one. I cant seemt o post the photos up here. But FYI, it is 2UG3 and of a bright yellow and shades of orange combination colour scheme.
Nevertheless, I have been informed that there will be a new racket coming out in January from various trusted sources. Let's wait and see (and hope it's blue! )
Interesting. When I post my previous message I was thinking such a big coorporation like Yonex, who spent so much on R&D on new products, it does not really in line with normal business practice that when they introduce a new technology/design such as Nanospeed series, they only come up with 2 designs/specifications. It is very likely that they have quite a number of Nanospeed specifications in Yonex initial business planning, but for commercial reason (or whatever reasons best known to Yonex) they decided to introduce only NS7000 and NS8000 to the market. It is on that basis that I argued that there could be a NS9000 "somewhere out there" - not so much as in the market but at least on paper. And that is I guess where some canny factories/producers base on and come up with the fake NS9000. Same argument could also apply to those AT900/AT1000 that you see, because in the AT series, there are relatively small range of products (AT300/500/700/800DF/800OF). Anyway, this is just my personal opinion. As you rightly say, we have to wait and see. If it is indeed yello and shades of orange, that my argument could be right!
In case you haven't seen, fake AT racket numbers has gone up to 50000 and some crazy numbers, and so, your saying doesn't hold because Yonex will not introduce them anyway. Example: AT-1100, 1300, 1500, 2000, 3000, 3500, 5000, 5678, 8000, 10000, 18000, 30000, and 50000. (I probably missed some numbers in between because there are a lot more)
fake rackets are with all kinds of color. I have seen more than 30 different colors in fake MP and AT rackets, and I am expecting to see more in fake NS series.
Surprised? Not that surprising at all... Many fakers loves to make fake racquet to fool to players to badminton. Beside, the name "Nanospeed" is kind of attractive to attract "dummies" to badminton. But of course, they should always ask professionals.
The other day someone asked me "Why high end Yonex rackets never have pink color", and I just don't know what to say (I don't want to say pink doesn't look professional )
I can't imagine knowing what to say, either. However, if one is really intent on a pink racquet, Gosen has a good one. They have pink and blue versions of the WPP 120, at least in some markets.
