even when LXR not in her best form, Marin couldn't capitalize it to win more title.

    2016 only OG.
but what about the other event ?
not good enough to win ?

2017 only Euro C'ship and Japan SS.
    EC really not competitive.
JPN SS, thanks to Okuhara who give WO to Marin.

I really want to know, can she handle the reigning WC if Okuhara is fit ?

btw, is she the WS GOAT according to @ssj100 ? :p

The ‘best’ Sindhu stepped on court today. Hope I haven’t commented early

Chen Yufei still not good at handling tall, fast, attacking players. She is usually a stable player but seemed more tense today and failed to read Sindhu's game well enough, and her net play is wanting, too loose, and also more error-prone, some forced by Sindhu's good play.

Chen Yuefei's progress is slow and steady, ample room for improvement though.

peak at the right moment, isn't it what china want and it's the story of chen long too? beat lcw in the most important match of 2015. Then he couldn't defeat lcw again until the most important match of 2016

well, injured is a part of the game. Denying injured is a skill:)
and i agree, marin didn't stop chinese domination in WS. Just a note in the end at wc 2014 final. The chinese wall has just become weaker and fallen by theirself

Pity Tan/Ong couldn't ousted the Boe/Mog pair. At least this is their first tournament together and they almost beat the powerhouse of 2017 MD.

Tan/Lai's match should end in straight set like AUS Open if they don't gift the match to the INA veterans.
