Wow this CHN WD duo is really quite impressive, having a great run this tournament! I need to get used to their antics however I do commend their battle spirit and giving their all in rallies. Great skills as well and definitely a pair to keep watch.

A fitting outcome for the exuberant Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan, it'll be such a shame not to land the title after taking out the OG gold and silver medallists earlier.

Not too much shrieking and over-celebrations today from the CHN as opposed to yesterday's match , goes to show how much they respect the JPN pair over the rest. In other words, beating the JPN duo meant more to them.

The two 19-year-olds storm their way to victory from start to finish throughout the tournament. Phenomenal. What a revelation.

This young pair won the title after beating OG silver medalists and then OG gold medalist so this is really a very good run.
I like the way they put so much power into the game and it's quite entertaining to watch,but I do expect more from them in the future.
And they really need to build on their sports manners...
