Hey there! I hope you are having an awesome day. I sold both of my Voltric Z Force II for Astrox 77 and Duora Z Strike. everything seems great, except one tiny little thing that just doesn't seem to calm my nerves. on the Duora Z Strikes shaft, it says PAT Pending. I want to know what that is, and if anyone of you also have that.

What does that mean? There is nothing physically wrong with my racquet right?

I've been looking at my z-strike for 10 minutes. "patent pending" is nowhere to be found .

so it should be authentic, because yumo is a legit store. Still very surprising. Maybe they added that in the recent produced rackets. what is your cone code?

My cone code and shaft code is original. No worries about that. I am not asking for authenticity but just wanted to know that this new things is all about.

I purchased a Z strike a few weeks ago, not from Yumo but another Canadian store and that "patent pending" is not there

Exactly. I had bought Z Strike last year and it didn't have this thing. But I don't care really.

Usually small companies (apacs/fleet/macbolt etc) tend to copy the design from big companies (yonex/victor/lining). Hence yonex applied for patent copyright to prevent this design copy from other companies.

Edit: it is an eyesore, but bear with it because yours is original.

Glad you cleared things up. My Z-strikes doesn’t have the PAT pending either but yours just might have it as it was part of the first batch production run. Interesting the you’ve gone for the Z strike and the Astrox 77 Amazon I have both of these too.
