Hello Ants, Have you tried the 2U version as well? If yes, which one do you prefer 3 or 2U? Cheers!!!
Nah man, the racket was fine. The lack of a right sleeve on his jersey threw off his balance. Oh, and the embarrassment made him want to end it early. My ZS gets here tomorrow. I'm gunna roll up one sleeve and see what happens
Congrats! You're getting the newly arrived batch (according to my supplier in Sydney) of the AS models aren't you? *LOL at the new jersey comment, still* It seems everyone is getting one at the moment....
AS ones are arriving by boat at some stage. All the ones locally at the moment are NZ coded. Apparently they are made from sheep.
for people in the UK who do not want to order it from abroad or want a UK coded racket maurice robinson sports are taking orders for the arcsaber z slash at £179.99 which is outragous !!! RRP is apparently £190 and it won't be arriving till mid to late october My advice if you are waiting for it in the UK buy it off www.mybadmintonstore.com totally legit and it will cost $189 which is rufly £125 fir SP/IP coded racket of u can get a JP coded one for about $235 from the same website which is about £160
It's very easy to tell the 2U from 3U about the usage for Arc-ZS. If you can play with 900P or AT700 very well, then, you should try 2U. If you can't, please take 3U.
I will not give any more review on ARC-Z since Ants did a great job on this one already. Just a few additional point. 1) Yes, the head is narrower vs most of the current YY racquet. 2) It is not a user friendly racquet. It feel heavier than it looks. Longer shaft helps additional power. 3) You need very good technique (a lot more than most of racquet) to use this racquet and adjustment time will be longer. 4) Go with BG66, Any yellow string actually will make this racquet stand out and looks good. 5) Don't spend the money on ARC-Z if you are not at B+ or A level higher.
I think ZS is very friendly, even you don't have enough strengh to use 900P, you can use this racket to smash as faster as 900P ( I mean 3U). Secondly, I don't think very good technique needed, if you played with badminton for couple of years, ZS is not hard to handle. If you can't handle this racket, please don't spend money on high-end racket. My oppion about this racket, it's powerful but not very exact contrl, compared with A10 or others. In the other word, this racket is for power users, but not for professional users.
And about the price imforamtion, JP version is sold for RMB 13XX-14XX in Beijing China. Please be told.
Personally I prefer 2U. 3Us are good also. Alot of the pro players are using 2UG5 version and some of them 3UG5. Taufik switched back to the Arc10 because he is still not used to the ARCZ during the tournament in Japan. However he switched back and forth... during practice sessions he uses the Z. still getting used to it.
One Pic of the ARC Z Proto. Same one that Yonex used in the Speed Test that you saw in the Yonex website. (Allowed Pic)
Hey I'm a B grade player. If I can't swing the ZS because I suck too much, I'll let you all know on Wednesday.
Maybe it's because it's your occupation Easy Tiger ROFL!! Aside from the joke, not everyone can use any racket which does not suit their style of play.
