    • 3rd and 4th are randomly drawn into top or bottom half, and placed into the empty quarters of the main draw.
    • 5th to 8th are randomly drawn into the remaining empty 1/8 of the main draw.
    • The rest is randomly drawn into the remaining spots.

Okay end of the match for court 2. Yu Yang / Wang Xiaoli just won the match 21-14, 21-12. I guess Zhao Yunlei is tired as she needed to play two matches today. Anyway she will be able to get a good rest after this.

Okay I am wrong here. I thought that the Japanese players will win. Wow, the Japanese players won the first match 21-13, but they lose in the second match 17-21. Now I think the Danish pairs will win the third set. I think the Japanese pairs looks a bit tired. They are also very old already. ha...ha... Guess Park Joo Bong their head coach should be fuming with anger now... Just kidding lol.

I don't think so because of the points. WSX has higher points compared to SN.

To be fair - Carolina Marin played well. TTY was never really allowed to settle into a rhythm to play her trick shots accurately.

I don't really see Carolina as the "bad girl". She has some bad habits is how I see it. Her bad habits should be pointed out, but I am not a fan of this over the top disciplining. Players deserve to have some freedom and individuality.

But I sure hope Saina beats Marin tomorrow. Last time Saina managed to beat her, but it was close. I believe Saina can can beat Carolina if she maintains her form.

I think so.. WSX is the defending champion here. But she lost in semis. Hence she will lose some points. And saina lost in the quarterfinals last year. THis year she has reached finals.. So, my guess is she will overtake WSX by little margin. Anybody clarify ??

SN is already ahead after advancing into the semi-finals

    SN: 71,081 -6,050 + 7,700 = 72,731

    WSX: 77,177 -11,000 +6,050 = 72,227

I was wondering the same. Shixian was the winner here last year. So she will lose points. Whereas Saina was only quarterfinalist last year(losing to Shixian actually) - so she will gain points.

And what about Li Xuerui. How much has her points dropped?

I see. So she will be back to #2!
What about Li Xuerui? Given her quitting from India SS.

    LXR: 84,244 -9,350 +4,320 = 79,214

    SN: 71,081 -6,050 +9,350 = 74,381 if losing
    71,081 -6,050 +11,000 - 76,031 if winning

LXR will hold her #1 spot. But since LXR is not playing IO, she will drop to 71,414 after IO. If SN scores any points at all at IO, she will be #1.

Actually, SN will be #1 regardless, since she has points to spare even if she gets no points from IO. Congrats!

Okay after such a long match Mathias Boe / Carsten Mogensen finally won the match against Kenichi Hayakawa / Hiroyuki Endo (13-21, 21-17, 21-16). Well this is a very unexpected match. I though the Japanese pair will win. Well, I guess Park Joo Bong the Japanese head coach should be fuming with anger now as there will be no representatives from the Japanese side in the finals. Hi.. Hi.. Just joking lol.

So the men doubles finals will be China vs Denmark tomorrow and it will be pretty exciting too. However, this time I think the Denmark players hold an edge to win the game as Zhang Nan may be tired as he needed to play in men doubles and also mixed doubles tomorrow lol.
