Lin Dan will have to really beat Shi Yuqi or LYB and coaches will have no confidence to field him at the Sudirman Cup.

LD to take it in 2 games to be fresh against a tired LCW tomorrow.

    CHN has all the luxuries.

In the unwritten rule of Chinese badminton, whoever loses the first game, will have to concede the match in two games.

SYQ takes G1, 24-22 and fist-pumped. Though LD is able to read SYQ's game well and keep him guessing, the young man is all over the court throwing everything back with superb defense and counterattack.

LD is forced to work hard for his points by a very determined SYQ.
