Lin Dan looked really sad yesterday. He hasn't been seen this sad in years according to social media. Any confirmation ?

Sincere thanks for Datuk Lee Chong Wei for this world-class demonstration on how to play badminton at 35 years old with an injured knee-- except for the last few points after Shi Yuqi's injury, he was going high-quality, low percentage shots with a variety of tactics and strategies.

This is definitely one for the history books under the new scoring system (it was easier to continue playing when you are older/slower under the old scoring system)

You are too kind. Her and Boe's serves are among the worst. So are Gab Adcock's flicks, an obvious hesitation in her back swings, should have been faulted a lot more times.

Well, you may be able to find the comfort and warmness of Juhl and Pederson.

What are the noticable differences between Lin Dan and LCW? Lin Dan can't match up with Shi Yuqi but LCW vanquished Shi Yuqi pretty tamely? I need to watch the LD vs. Shi Yuqi match in SF. Is 35 yrs old LCW is more fit than Lin Dan at 34 yrs old?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the same!! Have always thought Pederson's serve is a little odd/weird but no one seemed to have mentioned it.

Funny thing, when it comes to that, somehow many locals prefer their own country of birth where their roots belong. Of course the more developed countries have strict immigration laws that restrict the numbers. But in reality, many people from the poor countries are too poor to leave for the "greener pastures".

However, owing to war or very inhuman treatment at home, some risk their lives to escape to a "better" place.

It's MF's job to nurture the young but not get in the way of LCW who could still deliver at 35. The glory is actually by winning at this age which is considered really hard to maintain tiptop condition. That's actually very impressive. What's yet to be impressive from the youngsters, it's what MF and the successors will have to work on. He carried his nation to leave legacy and become a role model, a set path to be followed by the younger ones. He's inspiring his junior and for that he should receive at least some respect.

I don't have my family, friends and favorite food in Denmark.:p

Home is where I belong in my heart. How best could the country be if you don't even feel belong?;)

It seems the Korean girls have won!
Maybe the Danish girls have little choice of real good strings at home. o_O But they can buy them when overseas.
