Same here. After switching from bg80 and bg66um to aerosonic, i couldn't get away from the repulsion and sound.

Will this string improve my clear full court at low tension and does it last a while for casual play at around 22lb?

For sure. Also, how long a string lasts depends very much on how often you play per week and how well you hit the sweet spot, not just the tension.

I use Areosonic at 20lbs (pre-stretch 10%) for plastic shuttles. I play 3-4 times a week. And they last about 3-4 months.
    For feathers shuttles I use 24lbs (pre-stretch 10%) .

Love the sound from Areosonic. :)

I just restring my ax88d 4U5 with aerosonic @24lbs (23.5 on stringster) . 1st try with this thinner string than bg66um.

i try with lower tension just concerned it's too fast snap when misshit before i can feel the different taste.

Impressive string after one sesion game, I'd like the harder feel than bg66um with 3lbs lower tension i used before.

Still need adjusting the power due to more repulsion and the harder feel.

Switched to this string from ABBT. My timing went quite off. Kept hitting the top of my frame. Eeks.

Ive been using Aerosonic at tenshions of 26 to 27.5 lbs. Does the string seem to loose power the higher the tenshion in regard to the guage? I am contemplating wheather to lower the tenshion back to a 25. I feel that my game suffers from this a bit and I think its the tenshion and my skill. Would you have any advice?

This might be wrong but I found that repulsion will be reduced after a certain tension. If you suffer from repulsion and power loss from 26-27 lbs tension. Try 25lbs, I don't think it will go wrong.

Thank you for the reply. I knew that I wasnt crazy for thinking that my racket played differently after increasing the tenshion. I will give an update next week once I lower it a little.

I have unfortunately broken my racket yesterday and will have to wait with the restring untill I get a new one.
I got a little enraged yesterday at training... (big regret).

Ok - a new racket was strung with aerosonic. Tenshion 25 lbs. When compared to AS at 27.5, my shots do indeed make it much further now but at the same time, my feeling is gone and the string is not as enjoyable to play with. The sound seems muddy.

I will play with this tenshion on thursday again.

Gonna have to ask why did you want to change your string to BG80?

Lowering 2 lbs might be good idea.
BG80 are thick string, so its less repulsive & compare to Aerosonic its abig leap. You will find yourself struggle just to clear hit back to back line.
Also the sweet spot are kinda smaller.
But as its very less repulsive, your hitting are getting better consistency coz whatever you give its what you get. No power up.
