Once again, Sony struggled in the first half of the second set as he trails 7-11. 5 smashes from the Jap vs 0 from Sony in this set

    Sony better watch out...

Very interesting post by bic33 from four months ago: "... in Doha asian games, Taufik said to Anup sridhar that he was just giving him a free badminton lesson when Anup said that given another opportunity, he will defeat taufik..."

And then Sony rallied off with 6 points of his own to level it at 14-14.

A loss is a loss. TH was not in his best form and was totally outplayed by his opponent today as simple as that. We don't have to find excuses for his defeat. If he chose to lose, he would've lost in straight sets. 14-21, 26-24 & 20-22 scoreline suggests that he still desires to win. Stop all these nonsense right now.

Its like on a battlefield you want your real opponent (LD,LCW,Gade) to think that you are weak thus you act sick and hit back hard when u r ready. The difference is on badminton court u act sick to cheat opponent and real battle u act sick n go sleep forever.

7 straight points from Sony Dwi Kuncoro at 14-16 down in the second set seals the match for him as he takes it 21-15, 21-16. Lee Chong Wei should be expecting him next.

I think TH just doesn't have the desire to compete, it's evident from how he perform in these last two tournments, you can make up all the excuses for him about tricking his opponents and hiding his real skills but at the end of the day I just don't think he has what it takes anymore... Maybe the olympics will prove me wrong but I don't think these two losses are just flukes...

He wouldnt even need to come here if he afraid of LD and LCW reading his game and playing the rubber with Anup.
He can just dissapear altoghether and come out right before the Olympic game.

As much as I admire him, I take it that Anup simply outplay him today. No more want-or-dont-want conspiracy.
