I am surprised the Wang/Yu pair only got 75%... I think they are very much dominating in WD at the moment.

2011 World Championships: All-CHN Womens Doubles Final?

    .
TQ & ZYL are seeded No.5; yet they are the second favourites in this poll (as I post). I believe that many BCers are hoping for an All-CHN Womens Doubles Final.

An All-CHN WD Final? Wouldn't it be boring? :p:p:p

Yes, Wishing TQ & ZYL All the Best.

It's good to know that you don't believe in jinxing your favourite pair if you vote for them. :):):)

It is actually boring to see ZYL/TQ or YY/WYL playing any other WD pair as it will be one-sided. Forget about WR, these 2 CHN pair are the world best IMO and when they play each other, the coaches are absent that means no love lost and all out warfare. It is quite exciting to see world class badminton. I only question ZYL fitness since she could also play in XDF on the same night and in past WC, XD goes first;)

It's only because I believe that LYB would tell YY/WXL to give the match to TQ/ZYL if both pairs were to face each other at the Finals.

So how does this equate to BC members hoping for an all-CHN WD final?

Under normal circumstances, YY/WXL should walk it. So make it a normal circumstance (remove the LYB factor) wouldn't it be better to at least have a non-CHN pair in the final as well? Many of us wouldn't give a hoot if it was a CHN-CHN final.

IMHO, we cannot remove the LYB factor. I believe he cares more of the 2012 Olympic Games than this (2011) World Championships. So between now and the London Olympics, it would be better for TQ/ZYL to catch up with YY/WXL in ranking points (to be seeded as the Top 2 when the 2012 OG Draw is made), so that his 2 WD pairs won't face each other at the Finals.

aren't the draws will seperate players from the same country anyway?

Still doesn't answer why you think BC members would want an all-CHN final.

The LYB thing is a totally separate issue.

It's just the way BCers projects (though invoking the word coincidence is rather absurd) the outcome, not an issue of want.

Absolutely nothing to do with LYB. Let him chastise his squad picks if he can beat Zheng Bo.:D
