    I don't see any need for this poll!
    I accept AY isn't looking solid at the moment plus she hasn't shown any improvements of late! But selecting SS, MM, ST or any other tom **** and Harry over her has lil intelligence in it! I mean are kidding me, even questioning her position as #2 currently is unjustifiable!

    i agree. while personally i would love to send Sayaka Sato so she can have another chance after her injury in London and her tremendous never give up fighting spirit, it would be hard to justify anyone else but Nozomi and Akane.

    Don't you need to be in the top 16 in order to send a second player?
    That would mean Mitani and Takahashi don't even qualify.

    Nozomi Okuhara is the obvious choice and will go to the Olympics. Even AY didn't showed a great performance at the Uber Cup, i think Japan should send her to the Rio Olympics 2016. The other japanese player are great as well but dont have the same skills level as these two.

    I think NO and AY are a nobrainer. I'm rooting for Sayaka Sato though; the way she fought back after that horrific injury!
