Malaysia has five doubles pairs in the top 24 world ranking as of 30 May 2013.

Under BWF rules, Malaysia can only send a maximum of 3 pairs.

Two of the pairs will have to miss the party - pick one that you think should NOT go?

(The poll software can allow multiple choices but there was no way to limit the number of choices. I'd rather have put a poll saying who should go. Choosing who should NOT go probably would give a better indication. I have deliberately put the names in reverse order of world ranking).

The BWF list only lists the top three ranked as being qualified but having looked at the rules on qualification, I think any 3 from the top 24 pairs are able to be chosen. If I have misinterpreted the rules, please let me know and I'll alter this thread accordingly. Thanks

I say Fuzzy/Zak should not go and I vote for this. Whether we agree or not, KKK/TBH did earn their WR3 and should go for one last fling before they divorce:D

Thanks to several withdrawals, Fuzzy has been included in the WC. Gan/Ong are also listed as first reserve pair (in case of further WDN cases).

So, at the moment MAS has 4 MD pairs.

I'm surprised Tan/Koo still rank #3 in the world. I don't remember they reached any SF or QF in the past 1 or 2 years.

Tan Boon Heong is my favourite MD player, so he should go to WC 2013.

you guys are such meanies towards KKK/TBH... if only KKK was reading this and somehow mustered enough anger and confidence to win the WC13 MD. Just in case you guys were not aware... he has like 3 bronze medals from previous WCs.

Anything less than a victory at the World Championships will be a failure , for TBH.
hmmm, let's wait and see if they can get past the Kim/Kim korean pair 1st....TKH and their fate are at stake

none of the coach get fired because of player result(since i follow bam news)
they only get fired when lost out in politic battle
the player failure is just an excuse to kick the politic loser away.

KKK is a stupid pair..... they couldn't beat Kim/Kim , ShonSeungmo/LeeshengMu, maneepong/chalard, or any other pair... but they ranked number 2 in the world.... very hard to believe....

don't think it would failure if they didn't reach final in this WC..... if anything it should be a huge achievement for them if they manage to beat Kim/Kim in the 1st round....lol

I don't think it's possible to close the poll but still have the thread open. Therefore I will close the thread. I notice we still have been getting some votes after the squad has been announced.
