whoa...if that's true then I have a buch of overspeed birds:( ...ambiance temprature in the gym I'd say around 21-23 C top...since It's an older building build in the 50s. and i'ts too expensive to heat it more than that...

btw, what's the point of branding shuttles at 78 when the actual speed is 79? don't make any sense at all. pointless, utterly useless and crap.

COST of feather and cork material :D! Sosan Black 78 is another example of super pumped speed rating. It's actually more like speed 80 at sea level.

RSL shuttles sells higher in Montreal because we need to pay 15% tax while in Ontario we only need to pay 7% GST.

Also anyone interested to buy RSL shuttles could order 50 doz shuttles or more. Shipping is included in stardard market price, so donot worry about extra shipping fee. If you only 25 doz, shipping fee about $10 is charged.
Second, it will take only 2 days to ship from Montreal to Toronto. So it's actually very easy to order RSL shuttles!
If you have any complain please email me and I will handle it asap.

Also nice to see you here, roby, how the grip going?

I have 77 78 in stock, I supply RA Centre RSL No.1 with 79. Lot of player in Quebec like speed 77 and should be fine in Alberta. Because both places are warm in the room.

funny, I quote myself. but my victor shuttle acting up again. uber speed at the next one out of the tube. it had been steamed, but the speed was crazy. the one before this was OK.

I think the consistency in victor tourney is kinda off sometime...since it sporadically get weird speed.

I'm surprised at how much it cost some people. AS-50 is US$15.5 if you can buy from Taiwan's mattshop. Victor No.1 is US$13.5.

    Jinque shuttles

Try using Jinque AA, if you can get hold of them. Used to be able to buy on ebay (uk) costing around 9 uk pounds/doz. These shuttles perform as well as Yonex AS-50  (Seriously they DO). Unfortunately the seller has stopped selling these on ebay which is a shame as i can't speak chinese to order some direct :crying:. The speed was a little slow for my liking but they still last well even when tipped. Generally excellent shuttles.

Selling YANG YANG 300B at AUS$20/doz

Sure! It is approved by IBF for international tournament. Very nice shuttle. I'm selling it at AUS$20/doz.

I'm also selling Sea Lion C1101 at the same price. It is the top grade shuttle from Sea Lion and is also approved by IBF.

We actually has a lot of choices in Australia.

Did the one with the crazy speed also feel heavy? If it did then you might have over steamed it. This happened to me once when I steamed some shuttles 12 hours before using them. I find it best to steam shuttles 2 days before using them.

maybe I did oversteam them. I used to do it right before I went to badminton. but even so, I think it shouldn't do that. how much weight can a steam add to dry feather? it's not I dip them in water or something. it supposedly moisturized the feather, that's all.

Dunno how much weight oversteaming would add but remember there is only a 0.1g weight difference between speed 78 vs speed 79.

I remember the shuttles felt heavy when hitting them, and my back-to-back clears would go over a meter from the back line.
