13/06/2001 : Badminton fans in Europe will be able to relive some of the action from the Seville World Championships tonight. Eurosport, which services 54 European nations with a potential audience of 220 million viewers, will be screening footage of the badminton World Championships, including the gripping men''s singles final between Olympic silver medallist Hendrawan of Indonesia, and Europe''s sole finalist from all five events, world number one Peter Gade of Denmark. The badminton programme - in a prime-time slot - will start at 2030 Central European Time (1830 GMT).
Yeah i saw that, but missed part of it. Eurosport (in the UK at least) do tend to show most of the major badminton tournament on prime time slots. It is good to see that they are trying to promote badminton.
OK, so I read this a bit late... and when I turn on Eurosport they show GOLF as usual!!! DUH! How COULD I miss this???!!!
