OMG I cant believe they're tied at 6-6, I thought Ng would have this one easy, considering Canada's poor badminton training (in comparison)

hmm, court 1 seems to be putting up a good fight..

logosz and mateusiak of poland vs lindley and roebuck of england - just gone to a third after a tight end of the second game..

gonna have to hit the sack now tho - far to late to keep watching the numbers ticking over :D

    night all :D

Not necessarily. Canada does have a National TRaining centre with many quality coaches. Also, Andrew and a bunch of other players have training in Demark as well so it is not that surprising.

From what I read in the website, Zheng Bo is not feeling not well, the Malaysian pair may have a slight advantage.

Look at the stats from the Yonekura vs YPY match. Yonekura made more winners, less unforced errors and they won exctly as many rallies and points! Still YPY won the match since she managed to get the important points.

Ghaffar vs SSM is an upset, but not totally a surprise (as I "predicted" before) since SSM really hasn't shown anything spectacular since the olympics.

too much complain get red card??

funny assumptions hah? :D but i think injury is the most convincing one why he lost with big margin in the 1st set and suddenly was off the air in the 2nd set.

Taufik defeated Eric Pang without breaking any sweat in abt half an hr. He will face Boonsak tomorrow. An interesting repeat of last year's Olympic semi-final.

Chan Choong Meng/Koo Kien Keat also went through to the next round without any trouble. They face Cai/Fu tomorrow.....

The next matches involve Flandy/Eng Hian and Candra/Sigit. Flandy/Eng Hian have a pretty tricky tie against the young Korean pair, but, they should be able to go through. The winner will meet the young and improving Boe/Mogensen tomorrow.

    kinda quiet...

Saralee/Sathinee (THA) got a scare on the first set, losing to Lim Pek Siah/Chor Hoi Yee (MAS) 6-15, and then catched up to win 15-2 / 15-1

other than that, not much surprise.

    Chew/Choong is playing Sang/Zheng now. 9-5 Chew/Choong leading.

Dang, Sang/Zheng down 1 set to none. If they lose out here, Fu/Cai are gonna have a lot more pressure to salvage something for Chinese MD.

N Kaldau just beat Sony D K in 1st set and up in 2nd... if he makes it thru then PG's virtually thru to quarters...and by the way he's playing, most likely semis as well.
