Huh? It takes me 32 solid hours to reach romantic land via 3 lengthy stopovers in order to, err, get the best travel deal to, ahem, retain my World title. Not to mention that on route, I will be having a good 19-odd hours of fasting on the Dubai - London leg ......... And already so much pressure to start BC work.

Nah, will be spending my time more around Montrouge and the Latin Quartier (where halal food is within range). Deep pockets, yeah maybe, but I am cheapskate when on BC tour. Maybe will just rent those Velib Bikes to get myself around town. Only costs 1 Euro per day as long as I don't burst the 30 minute time limit per session.
Yup, my designated base is in Montrouge. Booked myself at the IBIS Porte d'Orleans at Rue Barbes. Since I'm gonna only be sleeping there, there is no need for more luxurious accommodation. It's close enough to the Porte d'Orleans Metro and the T3 Tram. The tram would actually put me within walking distance to the Stadium just across the Seine. Or I could just use the bike but will need to find my bearings first. Definitely the bikes would be handy for the trip to Latin Quartier in the middle of the night, at least.
