Wang became the first Hong Kong shuttler to win the title of women single yonex sunrise hongkong super series 2008, but she said she would not change mind to stop her professional career.
"I have decided to retire from the professional badminton and I won't change my mind. The title is a good thing to me and to Hong Kong badminton players," said Wang.
"I will not take part in the singles competition, but I will play some doubles events," she added.

It would be the best retirement gift for her if she wins tomorrow. But I'd also like Zhou Mi to win.
