Taiwan was occupied and ruled by the Japanese from 1895 to 1945. Many older taiwanese have fond memories of the japanese rule. Younger ones like the japanese culture.
rules are already and always there to set (and control) the basics of the games... nobody serious to obey them doesn't not mean these rules could be ignored, so once there are somebody / officials really serious able the rules, how could we blame them ruining or controlling the games? or those not serious about the rules should blame themselves?
Whatever the case, Japan have emerged as a very strong nation over the last year. Winners of the Thomas Cup, and finals at Sudirman Cup. Amazing stuff from a nation that doesn't emphasize badminton as much as China.
LXR, just relax, stay focus , and you'll be in full flow. Akane has nothing to fear, she can play freely.
Yamaguchi has got worse. She was better when she was 15-16 years old. Pity. I think Okuhara has a brighter future than her now.
as commented by the commentators during the game, that I agree. it was the player with the illegal serves that ruining the game, not the officials.
Nadal's also been nervous. Probably also injured. Anyway, 11-10 to LXR as expected. She should pull away soon.
