Tried both in 4U version. Dragon is more suited for a rear court player. Ryuga2 really disappoints me on smashing power but it is super easy to play with since it's felt lighter than Dragon, Ryuga 2 is more all round and is geared more to mid-front court players.4U wise, if you only cared about smashing then go for Dragon. But anything else I would go for Ryuga 2. Fast pace drives : Ryuga 2 > Dragon Defence: Ryuga 2 > Dragon Control (Direction and power) : Ryuga 2 = Dragon Easy to play with : Ryuga 2 > Dragon (dragon racket head is smaller) Clears (Backhand-forehand) : Ryuga 2 > Dragon Net shots: Dragon > Ryuga 2 Smash: Dragon > Ryuga 2
Is Dragon really better than Ryuga 2 in netting? I was expecting a racket that is stiffer + has freecore would handle netting better
by the way, Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo, who is using Ryuga 2, beat LKY with his Axforce 90 Max Dragon in Indonesia Master
then again, it depends on who using it btw, i heard that athlete's rackets are different compared to rackets made for publics
It depends if the athlete requests a custom modification. Viktor Axelson said he just uses a regular 3ug4 100zz.
Of course I know and I hope everyone knows that too I just made that comment because many people in this BC, including myself, are gears enthusiast, especially for latest high-end rackets
personally i like Dragon, because it's most similar to 100ZZ my current go-to. minus Yonex' amazing whiplash feeling. i use this for games, i play doubles. but.. i can't complain much about Ryuga 2. sweet spot is larger. i've been using this for several weeks in training. i just found a really nice feel for drives & defense, especially backhand drives.
Do you like the Ryuga 2 power (or more like you still find it acceptable) compared to the power and feel of 100ZZ?
power is acceptable for a top-of-the-line attacking racket. feel is not yet on-par with 100ZZ. i mean if you have never tried 100ZZ, i think you will like it.
