New racket just arrived - Victor Thruster F C Enhanced with Yonex Exbolt 65 at 27lbs - can't wait to try it out in some games next week
Sorry for being that guy, but it's called Thruster F Enhanced, without the C. The Thruster F C is the white racket used by Tai Tzu Ying.
sorry - victors naming conventions are all over the shop and I’m sure you knew exactly what I meant without being pedantic - but felt like you had to be that guy anyway but you chose to be anyway … their website says: TK-F (Enhanced Edition) C the label on the handle says: Thruster F C I was just referring to it by a name that seems to be commonly used when related to it… so - sorry to be that guy but ‘Thruster F C’ most definitely isn’t the white racket used by Tai Tzu Ying - that would be the ‘Thruster F Claw’
actually, found this (so will go with Thruster F C) when referring to it in future - doesn’t seem to be a way of editing the post.
I’ve not tried the Exbolt 63 - when I was looking at strings the Exbolt 65 had just came out and was meant to be better than the Exbolt 63 in terms of durability and shock absorption- whilst matching it across all the other metrics.. I get on really well with this string and can’t see me changing anytime soon
i just gotten this racket recently and today was my first day playing with it. i've got mix feeling abt it. i also strung it with exbolt 65 but 26lbs. i bought this to make it my main racket and my secondary one will be a astrox 77 play. i'm surprise to say, i actually enjoyed playing my 77 play more than the thruster enhance. a USD50 dollars vs a USD160 racket. sheesh! my 77 play was strung with exbolt 65 before. and i recently changed it to li ning # 1. and the feel is so good! now i'm wondering if its the string that i didnt enjoy because i have always been using li ning #1. then again, i'm gonna go for a few more sessions with my enhance and then see how it really feel.
Hello, Does anyone have experience with both Falcon Enhanced 3U and 4U and can compare both ? I have the 4U and get great control and speed and good power with it but thinking may be 3U offers more power ?? But it does sacrifice control/speed for power ?
I am a main doubles player. Usually back court. I have used both. Rackets are completely preference but my main racket is the TKFE 4U. I just found the 3U punch wasn't a heck of a lot more. If anything I didn't even really notice a difference. So I just stuck with the 4U. Definitely slightly easier to move around and better for the quick exchanges. Just my personal experience. I am not a professional though or in peak performance fitness. I am in between Intermediate and advanced.
