I have been using Yonex's exbolt 63 for over a year, but strings have been breaking too fast. I am now looking at 2 Victor strings VBS-70 and 69n, and would like some opinions on which is better, ideally durable while good for attacking/smashing at 28 lbs. Looking at the official stats 69n seems to be winning on all aspects except durability, but is this the case in real life scenarios?
Exb63 are thin string. VBS70 & 69 are thick string. They wont play the same at all. Wont say many others thing as the same gauge string but different brand would feel different due to coating, texture, & all. But thing that would be very obvious, do you expect there will be less repulsion & willing to accept it? For durability why not try Lining #1. Cant say much about new Lining N65 as its still new, but so far it still survive on my racket.
I would just go to BG65 Ti or LN#1 then.. at least they would be closer in performance and more in endurance. Do you know where your string is breaking? Is it often the same spot? At 28lbs you can break any thin string if you mishits all the time.
