+100000.
I massively underestimated AJ Jeyram...People forget that he had zero momentum coming to this tournament....And CTC was the one i was sure will block his path but still he overcame him and reached the final...Tomorrow(or Today)all fellow compatriots will cheer AJ and jinx Chen Long....Chen Long!!!!!!Bhow Bhow.....
Hey mates, haven't been following the comedy here with China WS. What was the excuse given for LXR losing again? Has she even won a title this year? Might be one of the greatest falls in badminton history?
Congratz to Ajay for earning his spot in the finals, and at his birthday, wow so cool!
I can just recall Srikanth as the other IND MS to ever earn his spot into the finals and even won the title in SS level and up among the still active IND MS. Gopichand and Prakash Padukone in the past.
As for the finals, lets see then. May the better player at that day be the winner... so Ajay will still have chance if he plays superbly against Chen Long![]()
Gopichand and Padukone never played super series...All these SS were 4star and 5 star GPs before 2006... BTW Nandu Natekar and Syed Modi won some of the present SS events too.
Wow, Kim/Kim have done incredibly well this tournament, basically beating formidable pairs they have losing H2H records against all the way:
R16: Pratama/Suwardi
Quarters: Ahsan/Setiawan (most surprising of them all)
Semis: FHF/ZN
Final: Can they do it one more time?
Sorry to say they will find it very difficult to win today though I am not ruling out the possibilities. H2h record shows that Lee Yong Dae / Yoo Yeon Seong always win Kim Gi Jung / Kim Sa Rang. Well just like you I am so surprised too. This is the first time ever in history I see both Kim advanced to the finals of the super series tournament of course. Their best performance ever and I guess will also be their last ever chance to reach the finals of super series tournaments. After this I guess they won't be so lucky anymore.
Chen Long only met Ajay once, that was how long ago ? To Chen Long, Ajay is an unfamiliar opponent in top form and the element of surprise is with Ajay, the underdog. If Chen Long is not careful, overconfident, let his guard down, who knows what might happen ?

Some brilliant dives, but alas lost the point due to a broken racket.
