Comfortable victory by the Indonesian Pratama/Suwardi over seeded 7 Liu/Qiu 21-14, 21-12 in just 26 minutes.

Not too surprise about that 7th seed losing, both Liu/Qiu and Chai/Hong are inconsistent pair, Fu/Zhang is definitely much better than them.

Apparently, Zhang Nan's injury from the JPN Open is probably mild or just a scare, but my concern is in his eagerness to prove himself capable of playing two events to his coaches, he may push too hard and overextend himself.

CL is 26 now. He will be 30 in 4 years and within this period, some new players may emerge and you may change. New faces are most welcome, but not many now. Sigh.

The longest duration so far, 75 mins. Mixed fortune for HKG MS as Wei Nan progressed into next round.

Nup!! I am very rigid when it comes to selections!! Hmm n I was referring to his late 30s when he find it difficult to stand a chance against the new era I would still stand by his side

Don't worry. With his style of play, he should prevail until his early thirties.
