Hi, does anyone know the difference between JS12ii and JS12 TD? https://yumo.ca/products/victor-jetspeed-victor-jetspeed-s-12-ii-js-12-ii-f-badminton-racquet https://yumo.ca/products/victor-jetspeed-s-12td-f-badminton-racket-blue-js-12td-f
Saw one being strung months ago, thought it was a JS12ii but was the TD. Seems kinda cheap feeling, no freecore. Not sure about anything else.
TD is just the budget version with similar looks to JS12II. Shaft is rated medium-stiff, Aero-sword frame profile and has pyrofil material. I had one a while ago. Can't compare to js12ii but all i can remember is it's quite nice in the hand, speedy yet powerful. Kinda regret selling it then.
Thanks for the info, the rackets do look very similar but the TD is quite a bit cheaper. If I cannot get another js12ii for a reasonable price then I may try the TD.
I tried the JS12TD tonight after I had it restrung with g-tone 5. I used it side by side with my JS12ii 4u, the JS12TD 4u is a little less head heavy, a little more flexible and has the G6 grip rather than G5. The JS12TD doesn't have the freecore handle but it didn't make any difference for the feel. I suggest that if JS12TD is available cheaper than JS12ii then it wouldn't be worth paying extra for the JS12ii but if the same price or similar then the JS12ii is marginally more refined.
