Then I know already what I would go for with the JS12 (if I'm going for it at all...). I made the exact same (and rather expensive) journey with the JS10 and also ended up with clearly preferring the 4U. Seems like we are one of the few 4U-guys in here.
How does JS12 compared to BS LYD 2? thinking of buying one of these but don't know how much difference. Any advice?
Just picked up a 3UG5 JS12, I'll post some first impressions and make some small comparisons to other rackets when I get a chance on court Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hi guys, ive been tried the js12 for 5 session of 2 hours each, i would say, its what i want my bs12 actually work when im using the js12, 3ug5, been using the bs12 for years. regardless bs12 still the masterpiece, im officially move to js12 and keep my bs12 for backup. my comparison to bs12 swing rate js12 < (tad slower) than bs12 but fast enough smashing js12 > bs12 tapping and drive js12 > over bs12 defensive still bs12 but js12 not far behind js12 a bit bigger in frame shape than bs12 (larger sweetspot than bs12)
Hi guys, I actually have a js10 4u (hk). I mostly play doubles. I like this racket, but I want something with smashes more powerful (from backcourt) , even if it's less quick. Do you think a js12 could be the solution ? (I didn't find a js10 3u). Does the head size of the js12 taller than the js10 ? Thanks!
Sma stiffness diff(an even balance racket) in js 12 only noticeable when u do smashing drive play and netting, i can say its not a wayy powerfull smashing like js10. But for me it is what i my bs12 lacking. If u want a smashing machine js10 is the answer. But its smashing is better than bs12.
To date I had used JS12 for more than 12 hours and I still prefer JS10 KRP due to it was faster, lighter and better control, despite both are 3U G5. Maybe I should wait for 4u version or get a KRP coded racket for JS12.
Phil To answer your question... JS10 HK version was head heavier than other JS10 versions. What will you find with JS12 is a more solid hitting base and a more open feeling in the hit due to the standard size head. JS10 can have a "tight" feeling due to the compact head. JS12 also has a studier, denser feel on impact. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
