Visor Victor Global is the parent. Victor Europe has different owners and a trade agreement with Victor in China. This means there are different agendas and issues to overcome. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
What's the point of making a new grade ceiling, then putting the first racket in the new echelon right at the top!? Paul's got nowhere to go again...
Gold is only second from the top, which is platinum... which will be reserved for something like the 3U JS10...
Yes, and it would make sense and wise in this day and age of internet for all of them to agree on carrying the same models worldwide. Just like Yonex.
Amleto I thought long and hard about this. As manufacturers raise the bar then i may have to re-think again. However, i believe that most rackets will fall into the 5 star scoring system. I am writing reviews for a babolat and Li-Ning racket next. Then i have two Yonex and I've completed the backlog. I don't expect to have many more for a while although I may just be able to borrow a HX800 for a week or so to write that review. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
This is what happens when you play at a school and haven't got a car. Presentation evening tomorrow, though, so we'll see if we can squeeze some more money out of the powers-that-be...
Mark - you've got a HX800? I can borrow one but need to wait a little and clear the rest of these rackets. I also need a break so i can write some coaching articles as it's been a while since I wrote any. I have Li-Ning N7 to write up. It didn't perform very well at all. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Aye, and compared to my stripped down JS10's it's a big racket But I've got a 3U K9900 coming next month, and that'll be a right wrist-breaker...
It's not a new problem, and you'll find that most solutions just use 'context' rather than a continually adjusting an absolute scale. For example computer games reviews are still marks out of 5/10/100 like they always have been. The reader has to put the review in the context of when it was reviewed.
Just got my hands on 2 pieces of JS10 3U KRP... Specs as follows: 1. 87.58g - 287mm 2. 87.47g - 287mm Am disappointed that the KRPs doesn't feel that much heavier than a regular 4U... Have to string 1 of them up to test soon before deciding to keep or let go of them.
