Hoki/Kobayashi & Lee/Wang took part too but knocked out earlier. There are just too many good MD at the moment, hard to predict winners. Don't discount this Danish pair, they almost win the world title at Copenhagen

Leo/daniel are too defensive as a pair, they don't take enough risk imo. I just realize that all these younger pairs seems to be pretty defensive compared to their seniors. from leo/daniel, to bagas/fikri, to pram/yere.

During the prize presentation at 2030h, the Danish coach told us we need to hurry taking photos…. The plane home leaves at 2300. After the photos, there was still the post match interviews to be done. I reckon they will make it to the airport about 80mins before take off. It’s a tight schedule!

Alright see you guys in Finlaaaaaand! But before that, the Asians will battle it out in Asian Games while the Europeans will try to figure how to unseat the Asian badminton powerhouses before the tournaments resume in Europe again!

Won't they get edgy if all disciplines go to 3 games? They would miss their flight.

Jonathan Christie is definitely Indonesian Chinese . You should look at his mom. Also his girl friend is Indonesian Chinese. It’s so easy for us Indonesian to tell . Maybe he’s not pure 100% Chinese but for Indonesian he’s considered not bumiputera

I have a question that is unrelated to this post of yours.

I was watching the XD Finals and found both the Chinese coaches faces very familiar. I did a quick online check on the older Chinese players but it was inconclusive - I first thought the female coach was Ge Fei but don't think it's her and after looking at a recent tournament video.

It's not easy to take point from Christie.

Sometimes we look at the screen and want our favorite player to play as a game character, which we can easily control and they will never get tired of.

Fatigue causes players to have fewer options and their insight decreases.

About the match, I'm sad a little bit when Nishimoto lead 18-16 in the second game but cannot finish it.

I think that Nishimoto played well in the whole tournament, even the final match.

I also know he is not Momota or Viktor (#1 in their career prime) to won a tournament ''easily''.

So, Silver ??? Still ''happy'' I am :D:D:D

Bow to the screen, the audience behind the screen. The watcher, like us.

When it's so many broken strings it's usually their stringing jobs, especially if they were done by the same stringer. Is that true?
