Congrats, Zheng/Huang, truly the undisputed WR1. Unfortunately, the other XD pairs are not up to standard, which makes it a bit boring to see him dominate.
It wouldn't hurt to see Zheng/Huang lose once in a while.

    Agree Completely.
I heard the crowd cheering for NO and AY yesterday and it would be wrong to say they HATE japanese players HATE is a strong word..if they HATE someone then that would be the player they would Boo and for now that player appears to be MARIN lolz

CYF should win her first title though. She really should. I think sometimes Marin is so error prone. She just needs to capitalise on it.

Momota before the start of the China Open has announced his intention to win it and raise his world ranking to number one, so there's no reason for him to be physically and mentally unprepared or not up to it, the way he beat all the rest en route to the final proves it.

For a pair that is not really prepared for Olympics, I guess being in final Super 1000 should be good enough. How long does ZN have to just mentor his juniors?

What to do? It's not like anyone good is available. CQC is good but refrained from doing double duty. Imagine that.

I'd put it down more to Zhang Nan still playing two disciplines tournament after tournament, it's getting very tough to do well in two events in the same tournament.

The crowd hate JPN players? I didn't recall that. It seems most of them did support NO and others in the recent day. Rare to see the crowd boo someone here, unless in Istora.

Well, Liu/Zhang were ousted in R1 both in Japan Open and China Open. He is technically not playing two disciplines as he only played one match a day lately.

Even if Chen Yufei has the technical skills to deal with Marin, her physical condition is inferior to the Spanish Bull whose speed and aggression is intimidating for any WS. I'm assuming Marin is still in WC form.

After Marin's victory at the JPN open, she declared that as long as she is fit and not confused, probably no one can beat her.
