Now that the minions are down, all depends on Ginting to win a tittle here for INA. Pressure, pressure, can he handle it? :D:D:D

I don't think you could wish that upon anybody. If it was a joke, it's not funny.

THE COMEBACK STORY IS COMPLETE NOW!

According to world ranking projections, Kento Momota will take over Viktor Axelsen as world number 1 by next week since he managed to reach the final in CHN Open today.

With this result, Momota to become the first JPN player WR number one in men's single!! History has just been made!!!

    Congrats Momota! ;)

It looked like Ginting slowed down a lot today compared with his match against CL, so it will be interesting to see how he copes tomorrow. I hope for a close game :D

Nozomi's retrieving ability and technical skills should make the match with Marin a fighting one

    Nah..

Being an underdog means you play with nothing to lose..

Hopefully the lad will enjoy the match & will show everyone why he deserves to be this far in the competition though. :D:p

He has already proven that he deserves to be in the final haha

Momota should be tired too though he played less games in this tournament. But hoping both players would do their best tomorrow.

For once, Marin didn't scream when she won a point.

    What's this umpire problem really??
    Okuhara won G1

Gao Fangjie showed yesterday Marin is not unbeatable albeit quite tough, and Nozomi today is proving it by taking G1.

No one is unbeatable. Nothing to do with what GFJ did honestly.

I don't mean unbeatable as invincible, just for want of a better word.

Remember how Marin thumped everyone at the WC

Marin is very much beatable, especially outside major tournaments. Today she does not seem to be playing that quickly, Okuhara has can dictate rallies. But fact is Marin has won 4/5 major tournaments in last five years.
