    I just moved to Madrid.
I live in Chamberi. I used to be an advanced player, not anymore with my belly :D
I'd love to play badminton again. I've already brought my racket and stuff by myself and ready to play regularly.

Hey Peyman, we are 3-4 people (intermediate) wanting to play once a week on weekends, so if you wanted to join us send me a private message to exchange phones (so it is easier to agree on a place and time :)

    Cheers,

Hi Jon, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, weekdays are not quite suitable for me (perhaps some Wednesdays). You mentioned that at Pradillo there are some people playing at the weekend? Regards.

    Hi Welcome to Madrid!!,

There are many clubs in Madrid area where you will be able to play.

If you can indicate me which area is better for you i'll be able to give you more accurate information (club names, etc, etc) . there are clubs in Madrid down-town and also close to Madrid, in the north south, etc, etc

    Best regards

    Alejandro

    Hola Alerin,

Thank you for your info. I've tried contacted them but they said that I need to wait until September. I found it too long from now and I'm afraid that I don't know my schedule from that time. Do you have any place that I can join immediately?

I've tried contacting several club but few of them have replied and none is speaking English :( Correct me if I'm wrong, most clubs will start a new 'season' at the beginning of September so you need to book a slot and become a member to be able play.

    Hello,

I have been trying to find a place to play badminton in Madrid for some time now. My level is intermediate, i used to play a lot in Barcelona. We would just book a slot in one of the polideportivo municipal and organize a play through the meetup platform. Anyone could come and play, regardless of their level, and after a few months we were so many we started organizing groups by levels.
Anyone interested in trying something similar here?
