    XD:

Tony/Minarti vs. Howard/Eva - i pick Tony/Minarti on this one. nothing beats experience
Asuncion/Asuncion vs. Masuda/Maeda - i know neither pair. just random pick

    WS:

Lee Yun Hwa vs. Pai Min Jie
Jun Jae Youn vs. Elizabeth Cann - Jun Jae Youn no doubt.

i think the Koreans will take WS this year

    MS:

    Dabeka vs. Nakanishi
Vaughan vs. Lee Tsuen Seng - pick Richard coz i am never impressed by Lee's game

    WD:

    Akao/Matsuda vs. Joo/Oh
    Ha/Hwang vs. Maeda/Suetsuna

    MD:

    Bach/Malaythong vs. Tony/Raju - isn't Raju a single player?
    Kawamae/Kawaguchi vs. Ohtsuka/Masuda

    Here is my choice :

    XD:
Tony/Minarti vs. Howard/Eva - They are having a great run here ! Defeating the Japanese pair prove they are on form ..
Asuncion/Asuncion vs. Masuda/Maeda - Too bad the Philipino siblings will fight the experience of JAPAnese pair is well above of them

    WS:
Lee Yun Hwa vs. Pai Min Jie - beating the top seed (main challenger) Ana Rice in the QF shows she has the determination to win here.
Jun Jae Youn vs. Elizabeth Cann - An ALL korean finals is in the cards.

    MS:
Dabekavs. Nakanishi - This guys is very fast !
Vaughan vs. Lee Tsuen Seng - his attacking game will prevail

    WD:
    Akao/Matsuda vs. Joo/Oh - Don't know both's games. Randomly pick.
Ha/Hwang vs. Maeda/Suetsuna - Hwang is hot favourite for the title.

    MD:
Bach/Malaythong vs. Tony/Raju - Tony will focus on this one... Brighter chances.
Kawamae/Kawaguchi vs. Ohtsuka/Masuda - their stamina power will pulls them through.

Congratulations to Howard Bach!!! Having won not just a single match but two matches was a great achievement. Will he do it again tomorrow, that we will see. Japanese in both MX and MD will be a tough road for HB especially Park Joo Bong guiding the Japanese. I wish them good luck.

Too bad for the Asuncions, they can't match the power of the Japanese. Even though they lost it isn't that bad. At least they will take home some few grands and some points.

Noaki and Keishi are catching up to Tadashi and Keita, 16 - 18. A possible rubber match.

Hope they will not spend it all at the Casino. Many will be heading to Las Vegas i'm sure.

At least our sole survivor Lee TS advance to the finals. Hope he will win it. Its not going to be easy playing the Japanese. Stamina will be the main factor here and LTS lacks that. He have to win it in 2 sets. If not... *sigh* all the best buddy.

The Semi-Finals are over. The Tadashi and Keita who were the no. 2 seeds has beaten compatriots Naoki and Keishi 21-16, 21-18. They will face Americans Howard and Kahn in the finals.

As for the overview for the matches tomorrow, unfortunately, there's none, yet. The tournament software hasn't post the matches as of now. It might be until tomorrow.

Final will start at 6PM California time on Saturday Sept-1
I think the order of play will be the same semi-final, i.e.: XD, WS, MS, WD, MD.
