Anyone know whether this is a good machine for stringing badminton racquet. I am thinking of buying one but do not know much about his machine. Its an Upright Badminton Stringing Machine, 6-Point Electronic Tension System, Fixed Clamps. I have Google for it but have not found much info on it. Does not appear to be much info on this forum as well when I search. Maybe re-badge under a different name?
Any info to help me decided would be useful. Thanks.:)
Let it be known that I have never strung before and is looking for a machine to last my and my sons life time.:p Sort of a family heir loom.....

    Same machine ..

Thanks silentheart I believe its the same machine but slightly re-badged. On the picture my supplier provide me with its badged as Tyger T-610. Originally I was going for a Neon21S but he says he has sold out and he also says the Tyger is a better machine. Price is about AU$500 more though. Neon21S is AU$1K whereas the Tyger is quoted as AU$1.5K.
Love to hear from anyone else who has use this machine.

Yeah, those are Opus type of badminton shoulder supports.

The turntable looks like very badminton specific.

The head support seems to come from Yonex/Eagnas ST-250.

I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing is made by Eagnas Taiwan!

1 thing I like about this is the N/S posts set up. This is a tennis machine can be used for badminton. From the picture, you have only 1 adjustable post (right one). It is quick to set up from tennis to badminton. However, you will waste more string because you can not position the racquet close to middle of tern table.

Yeah, this feature pertains to badminton stringing machines, like the Victor C-7030. Also, notice the short length of the turn table compared to the maximum allowable turning radius of the machine itself. The turn table is much shorter than the maximum radius. This would suggest that the turn table is badminton specific (I could be wrong). What do you think?

The mounting columns most likely come from the Yonex/Eagnas ST-250 design but modified to fit a proper turn table. I wonder where to get this turn table :).

Nope, I am pretty sure this is a tennis machine 1st., badminton machine 2nd. Also he is looking for a machine for both badminton and tennis. I will suggest badwally to take a badminton and 1 tennis racquet to see how it mount on the machine. See if works out ok.

Badwally, do you have access to the machine? Is it possible to take a photo or two from above in order to show the turn table in its entirety?

Hey Pete LSD will try and find out from my supplier if I can get a link to the vendors web site. I believe he imports these from Taiwan.

Second machine looks cool. Never used Electronic machine before but I prefer the string gripper on the second one. And it looks like a ES5Pro clone. I guess you get what you pay for.
