Geesh I was just saying the possibility of LD winning WC was much more realistic than the some other imaginations.
Just now they have shown a man and his wife on the crowd. He looked exactly like a fattier version of Chen Long.
I listen for their technical knowledge . I do feel Morten is more technically sound in his analysis but i am not telling that Steen is not but he conceals certain player's inabilities which i think is not good for the viewers who like to hear everything and anything about the players on court.
Not good for the viewers, but it should be up to the future opponents and their teams to figure it all out. I feel that sometimes Steen has said too much already in his commentaries.
So who is a good choice to commentate, then, in your opinion? You dont like what Morten has to say, you dont like Steen. You only 'accept' Morten's comments because of his achievements as a player (irrelevant to his current function, but whatever)...who could possibly please your highness?
YutaArisa looks like in trouble. ShiYuqi injury looks like Arisa injury. Not easy to cure to 100% these injuries.
That is just the kind of thing that is very likely to be a product of wishful thinking rather than an objective, provable fact...so pray tell, why should he dissect every player and talk at length about their weaknesses (as perceived by him)? Cant imagine that annoying viewers. I'm sure you'd love him going on about your favorite players' weak areas...certainly wouldnt complain about bias then. Honestly, the entitlement is overwhelming. Just be happy that you have someone offering insight, someone with good knowledge of the game and its history, and that you dont have to bear the inane mumblings of someone much worse instead ('What a get!' or my new favorte - 'Very talented racket!'). Honestly, as long as it's something technical (i.e. nothing about their personality or private life that he knows from behind the scenes) I see no problem at all with that. Why shouldn't he comment on exploitable weaknesses? I'd just keep balance in mind if I were in his place (i.e. dont go overboard on just one player/pair, dont only talk about weaknesses without mentioning strengths), but he sure is free to do as he pleases (and I certainly dont complain about his work at all).
