Aren't some a bit too obsessed with the Chinese result? :) Just because they had been dominating for long doesn't mean they would always be. Talents and players are different across the generation. Even the Chinese themselves are too hung up with their glorious days to focus on what they need to work on right now. Obviously the younger CHN players have been too much under the pressure to perform like their seniors. It is hard to shine when you have big legends as the expectation standard.

Awwright, let's get this quarter final going. I'm SO READY, the pompoms have been sewn, popcorn cooked, and wigs laid!

TVRI better broadcast all INA matches and all WS matches in ct.1 so i can save my internet quota for another amazing 3 hours maratahon match of NO vs PVS later on.

Greys/Apri vs Chen/Jia - Apri needs to get her defend to work today otherwise, it's gonna be byebye already. They need to play patient, smart counter attacking style to beat Chen/Jia imo, it suits them and they're more solid and stable in this style rather than all out attacking from the start.
for the minions, Marcus needs to stay solid just like yesterday and Kevin, please cut down your UEs.
in WS, i think TTY and Queen Caro will prevail against HBJ and SN.
I'm also excited for all the XD matches especially TCM/TYS vs CPS/GLY and Adcocks vs HDP/WYL.

Yeah, I am conflicted too. A shame that they meet so early. It would be better if one of them is at the bottom quarter or something.

Chen/Jia's attacks are not biting at all, the advantage is on Polii/Rahayu.

I am opening both stream and muted court 2. During interval when the INA coach was on the screen, the JPN coach voice running from court 1 streaming. I was stunned I thought the INA coach was speaking in Japanese very fluently to the INA players:eek::eek:. Then I realised it was from the court 1 streaming.. phew :D:D:D

First time seeing Sho Sasaki coaching this week. He'll most certainly be with Tanaka/Yonemoto later, as well.

China always sets high standard, they also one of world's sport powerhouses (Olympic Games). Not only badminton, they also dominate table-tennis and diving for long period. Indeed, the current generation is under heavyweight pressure to continue their illustrious seniors achievement.
