Chen Yufei , I'm still shaking my head in disbelief. I actually thought Akane is the frontrunner with Marin for the title. You've spoilt the party. But, wait, there's still Intanon on your half of the draw, let's see how Chen Xiaoxin deals with her first before it's your turn.

Now who can stop Carolina Marin without her rival Akane/Tai?
    Care to enlighten us?

Every round, there is an upset, what a world championship it's turning out to be.

Great job by Yufei to overplay Akane in the end of first and second set. Hey! She also got some lucky net cord in the 19-20 phase.
Lady Luck is smiling to her.

Chen Yufei avenges her BAC Team defeat on Akane , bodes well for CYF's confidence and inner belief. She will go far.

Now, will Tian Houwei spoil Brice Leverdez's great World Championship run today?
or he will make another upset, this time against a Chinese player?

It has been a surprise especially how long since she joined the senior circuit.
A player to watch, not even in her peak yet, might be in this tournament.

As LCW said, you need a bit of luck, And, also, you create your own luck. The fact that Chen Yufei could take G1 is proof of her ability already, even if she loses the match in the end. It was well played, hard fought, luck played only a minor part.

I was actually more worried about Chen Yufei's stamina, she has really improved a lot in her skills. Nevertheless, still room for improvement for the young, 19-year-old WJC. Way to go !

Ajay jayaram was not supposed to be here at the world championships
Prannoy and kashyap were any time better than him.
