Is Taufik just lack of practice after his wedding or this Tien Minh Nguyen really that good?

Nguyen is a very common surname in Vietnam, just like Lee or Kim in Korea.

i suspect maybe lack of practice. i am more worried when he play Boonsak tomorrow, some more he already said he doesn't like the new scoring, so..who knows it could be that factor as well....let see tomorrow:)

I will be really annoyed if this is really the case. This is irrelevant, he just has to accept that the scoring system is as such and he just has to live with it and play. I agree that he is probably out of practice with all his wedding preparation. Either way I hope he plays his very best against Boonsak, the guy is a tricky one. In the meantime, I am quite excited for the new pairing of Lita/Butet. I hope they do well. Novita/Polii can also do pretty well. They are a good pair, the only problem is whenever they play in major tournaments, they always end up meeting one of the chinese pairs in the earlier rounds. I think the Uber cup will certainly give them an opportunity to get themselves noticed by the badminton world.
