Wondered how much exhaustion is a factor in the decimation of Korean's MS. Playing 3 back-to-back tourney is hard for anyone.
i say that is a cop out excuse. Some players in AE have played 3 tournament back to back too like eric pang and he is doing BETTER, not worst after each 1. LHI had an easy route in german open, won all the matches in 2 sets, ex. the final was 22-20, 21-5 over sho sasaki, not very taxing at all. If LHI could beat LD in KO, and won German open, he should able to last to the qtr final if the exhaustion excuse is valid, not round 1 of AE.

Silly argument. Eric Pang lost on Friday, so he had plenty of rest. And how can you tell he is playing better? He only reached QF on GO, and he has yet to reach that stage, especially against LD on the next game. LHI had to do all the matches until Sunday. The argument that LHI had an easy route is flawed because a rally is exhausting. Case in point: LHI vs LD in KO. Even though LD took the 1st game 21-4, it was still a very taxing set for both players.
