The Korean Squad

1. Ha TaeKwon is still playing. And the surprise is he will play with Kim DM at Sudirman Cup in Peking. It is planned to get RA KYUNGMIN ;) into the national squad only for the Sudirman Cup to defend the title. Ha is now a playing coach.

2. Jung Jaesung (left) / Lee Jaejin (right) are the new hope in the Korean MD after their victory over Kim DM/Ha TK at the National Championships. Lee Jaejin could be the next Kim DM.

3. Jun Jaeyoun is now mature and looks like a woman, not anymore like a girl. But she had difficulties to defeat her compatriot Hwang Hyeyeon in the first round. She is a good cook!:D

4. Hwang Jiman (left) / Lee Yongdae (right) defeated Sang Yang/Zheng Bo. I saw Zheng's right arm which is twice thick as his left one. What a powerful smash! But the match showed once again that a sensible strategy and good cooperation are more important.

5. Lee Hyojung (left) / Lee Kyungwon (right) are alwayse in a good mood. They are now the oldest among the female players.

HEY!!! I think Hwang Jiman is the Korean doubles player who participated in the 2003 Canadian Open, here in Vancouver a couple years ago.

That guy is AWESOME!!!

LOL, then you didnt focus your camera correctly :p (J/K)
I'm lost. How would the focus affect whether Pullela Gopichand sat with his compatriots or whether they might have happened to be in the background of a photo of Korean players?

QUOTE]

I've noticed that some of the younger Korean girls seem to have harder smashes than their older compatriots. I'm talking of Hwang Hye-yeon, Lee Yun-hwa and Joo Hyun-hee, primarily. Since none of the girls seem to be capable of jump smashes, the height of Lee Hyo-jung, Ra Kyung-min and Kim Mi-young (young) put them into a different category. As all of these girls are just as fleet of foot as anyone around and seem to lack only experience, I am optimistic about the future Korean women competitors' chances at the top levels.
